FAQ

What's your favourite pet?

The best pet is one that you love. There is no single right answer. Each person will have his or her own opinion on which pet is best.

Some people believe cats are better than dogs. Others argue that dogs are more loyal to their owners and more affectionate. Others argue that birds make the best pets.

You must choose the right type of pet for you, regardless of what breed.

If you're friendly and outgoing then a dog is right for you. If you're shy and reserved, a cat would suit your needs best.

Also, think about the size of your house and apartment. A small apartment means that you'll need a smaller pet. A larger house, on the other hand will require you to have more space.

Finally, remember that pets require lots of attention. They should be fed on a regular basis. They should be taken out for walks. They need to be brushed, and cleaned.

Knowing all these details will allow you to choose the best pet possible.

What should I consider before getting an exotic pet?

Before you go ahead and buy an exotic pet, there are several things you need to think about. First, decide if you intend to keep the pet as a pet or sell it. If you're keeping it as a pet, then make sure you have enough space for it. It is also important to estimate how much time it will take to care for the animal. It's not easy to care about an animal. But it's well worth it.

If you're looking to sell the animal then you should find someone willing and able to buy it. It is important that anyone who purchases your animal understands how animals are cared for. It is important to not overfeed your animal. This could lead later to health problems.

You need to thoroughly research exotic pets before buying them. Many websites provide information about various types of pets. Be cautious not to fall for scams.

What is pet assurance?

Pet Insurance provides financial coverage for pets that are injured or sick. It also covers routine veterinary care such as vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and microchipping.

Additional benefits include emergency treatment in the event your pet becomes ill or is involved in an accident.

There are two types if pet insurance:

  • Catastrophic Insurance - This insurance covers medical expenses for your cat if it sustains severe injuries.
  • Non-catastrophic - This type covers routine veterinary costs, including vaccines, microchips, and spays/neuters.

Some companies offer both catastrophic and non-catastrophic coverage. Others may offer one or both.

To cover these costs you will need to pay a monthly Premium. The amount you spend on your pet’s care will determine the cost.

The price of your insurance depends on which company is chosen. Make sure to shop around before you buy.

If you purchase multiple policies, some companies offer discounts.

Transferring an existing pet insurance policy with another company is possible.

If you decide not to buy any pet insurance, then you'll have to make all of these payments yourself.

There are still many ways to save money. Ask your veterinarian about discounts.

If your pet sees you often, he may discount you.

Or, you can find a local animal shelter where you can adopt a pet instead of paying for one.

No matter which type of insurance you choose, it is important to read all the fine print.

It will let you know exactly how much your coverage is worth. If you don’t understand something, contact an insurer immediately.
